Susie Belle Johnson Roberts

Following a lingering illness, Mrs. Albert Roberts, 63, died at 1:45 o'clock Monday afternoon at the family home in Reserve. She had been in failing health for three years and bedfast for seven months.

Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 13, 1884 in Missouri. She came to Nebraska with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Johnson, who settled near Rulo.

Dec. 13, 1899 she was married to Albert Roberts in Falls City. The couple settled near Rulo where they were engaged in farming. Sixteen years ago, they moved to Reserve where they have resided since.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Roberts is survived by three sons, Orville Roberts, Rulo, Ed Roberts, White Cloud, Kas. and Albert J. Roberts, Louisburg, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Glenn Johnson, Porterville, Calif., Mrs. Loyd Chase, Reserve, Mrs. John Bean, Fairbury and Mrs. Cecelio Antonia, Coyote, Calif.; a brother, Archie Johnson, Oregon, a half-brother, Dave Hunt, St. Joseph and two sisters, Mrs. Abe Liberty and Mrs. John Morris, both of Rulo. There are 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Four children preceded Mrs. Roberts in death.

The body is at Chaneys' pending funeral arrangements.
