Shortridge

Mrs. Florence Shortridge, wife of W. A. Shortridge, and daugter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Rice, died at her home in Kansas City, MO., October 4, 1900. Her death was a surprise to both friends and relatives as her illness lasted only from Sunday till Thursday. She was 42 years old. She leaves a husband and one daughter and many friends around Hiawatha and Horton to mourn her loss. The large attendance at the funeral and fine floral offerings showed she had made many friends during her one year's resident in Kansas City.
